Heads Up: In my school we have 2 math class. Chore math and Math Exploration.
September-
Chord Math: My class or I had learned about polygons and measuring angles and formals for solving questions that ask you about the angles and angles sum and other things. We or I had also learned new vocabulary words. We made polygons and create pattern with plastic shape. We also played game to answer questions or learn something new.
Math Exploration: My class or I had learned about possibility and percentage. We have to experiment the problem and the theoretically explain the problem and the solution to solve it.
October-
Chord Math: Currently we finish up the unit of geometry, and we are now up to learning about negative and positive numbers. We learn how to subtract and add, negative and positive numbers and finding the difference between negative and positive numbers.
Math Exploration: Still learning about possibilities of how you get a certain amount and we are gong to star learning about rules and coordinates.
November-
Chord Math: We are now learning about scale factors and how to find out if a shape is similar to another shape. We just started this unit and I'm confuse about it. You need to have many condition to find it they are similar and we are going to learn more vocabulary words.
Math Exploration: We are now finishing up the first unit, which we all know by now is possibilities and next class we are going to learn about rules and coordinates.
December-
Chord Math:We are now still doing what we did in November which is about scale factors. I learned more about it and I think it's really easy to do.
Math Exploration: Finally we are starting to learn about rules. So far we look at coordinates graph and figure out rules of shapes and how changing it can affect the shape. Also we are learning how to change the rule but not effect the shape.
January-
Chord Math: We are continuing using scale factor, but we are now starting ratio and we notice that it can be use to find if the 2 shape are similar as the way we use scale factor. We are also starting proportion.
Math Exploration: We are now continuing coordinates graph and we are now learning how to use equation to create the lines. We are having a project. I partnership and we are creating a puzzle. My partner choose the heart.

Chord Math: We are continuing learning about ratios, scale factors and proportion. We are now learning about shadows methods that may help us find the shadow length and other missing numbers problems.
Math Exploration: We are now learning to match up equation rule to a graph and example why is it and also how did you find it out. We need to use proper vocab in Math Exploration.
March-
Chord Math: We are now preparing for the state math test which is on 4/23,24, and 25/15. We are going over review and also we have like after school programmers that can help you with test question that you might not understand.
Math Exploration: We are now also going over what are learning. We are now learning about the mean, median, mode, MAD, IQR, Range, Upper/lower quartile and other. We also learned to graph a box and whisker plot and many others and on and on.
April-
Chord Math: This month is mostly focus on the state test for Math. After the state test was finish we rested/relaxed for the last week of this month. We also went over if the state test was hard and what kind of problems did we find hard. I found it quite easy.
Math Exploration: We had the state test for this month and mostly we skipped this class because of the test schedule. We also celebrate Pi day even though it pasted already because unfortunately our class wasn't able to celebrate it back then so we move it towards this month.
May-
Chord Math: After the state test, we continue with math. We learn start learning more about geometry that's in 9th grade. I don't understand anything that we had talk about in that unit that we are starting to learn. Well, I understand sooner or later.
Math Exploration: we started programing games. We are given codes and we need to change it and find the meaning behind the code. then put it into another form as a proper code and them put it into our game. so far I think this programing is really easy. Me and my partner are really ahead of the class.
June-
